You use the Product Selection dialog box to select which products you want to install. If the installer determines that there are newer versions of products available at The MathWorks Web site, it includes these versions in the product list, providing information about the size of the file to be downloaded.
The Product and Folder Selection dialog box also lists all the products you are licensed to install, preselected for installation. If you do not want to install a particular product, clear the check box next to its name. You can always install a product later — see Installing Additional Products. The License Manager is only required for Network installations — see Network Installation Procedure
After specifying the products you want to install, click Next to continue with the installation. The installer downloads the product updates from The MathWorks Web site. After clicking Next, you might receive a message telling you that one or more of the products that you selected for installation have dependencies on other products. SeeProduct Dependencies for more information.
Note The installer includes the online documentation, in compressed form, for each product you install. This does not include documentation in PDF format, which is only available at the MathWorks Web site. |
After completing step 7, you might receive a message telling you that one or more of the products that you selected for installation have dependencies on other products that were not selected. In the following example, certain products require the Signal Processing Toolbox and the Signal Processing Blockset. To dismiss the message and continue with the installation, click OK. For a Custom installation, if you want to adjust your product selections, click Cancel.
