The Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives (Intel® IPP) package comes with a mechanism for delivering the Intel® IPP DLLs onto an end-user system. This mechanism consists of those files included in the directory tools\runtime\installer for use with IA-32 platforms and tools\runtime\installer64 for Itanium® architecture-based systems. When executed, the file setup.exe will extract and install the dispatcher DLLs (the files in .\bin of the Intel® IPP installation) and at least one set of processor-specific DLLs (the files in .\bin\ipp20) into the folder <WINSYSDIR> and <WINSYSDIR>\ipp20, respectively.
The command line arguments determine whether one set of DLLs or all DLLs are installed. By default, only the DLLs appropriate to the processor of the target machine are installed.
