Using the FLEXnet Utilities Graphical User Interface (LMTOOLS)

FLEXnet provides a graphical user interface (GUI), called LMTOOLS. The LMTOOLS GUI provides access to the same set of tools as the lmutil command and displays the results returned in an integrated display window. (For information about using the lmutil program, see Using the FLEXnet Command Line Utilities (lmutil.exe).)

Using LMTOOLS to Get the Current Status of the License Manager

To illustrate how to use LMTOOLS, this section describes getting the current status of the license manager.

1. Start LMTOOLS by double-clicking the lmtools.exe file in the matlabroot\R2006b\flexlm folder.

2. Click the Server Status tab.

3. Click the Perform Status Enquiry button. LMTOOLS displays the same information as if you had entered the command lmutil lmstat -a.
