MATLAB Installation Directory Structure

After installation, your MATLAB installation directory contains:

• A text file, named license.txt, which contains the MATLAB software license agreement
• A short-cut to the MATLAB executable
• The subdirectories listed below

Note    Your installation may not include all the subdirectories listed.

\BIN\WIN32	The MATLAB binary and associated files
\DEMOS	MATLAB demonstration programs
\EXTERN	Tools for building external interfaces to MATLAB
\FLEXLM	The FLEXlm license manager, license management utilities
\HELP	Help system
\JA	MATLAB internationalization files
\JAVA	MATLAB Java Jar files
\NOTEBOOK	MATLAB Notebook
\SYS	Tools and operating system libraries that MATLAB depends on
\TOOLBOX	The MATLAB toolboxes
\UNINSTALL	The MATLAB Uninstaller program
\WORK	Default initial current directory
