Using the lmtools.exe GUI

FLEXlm provides a graphical user interface (GUI) to its license management tools. To invoke this GUI, double-click on the lmtools.exe file in the $MATLAB\flexlm directory. The GUI uses buttons to provide access to the same set of tools as lmutil.exe and displays the results returned in an integrated display window.

Note    When using the lmtools GUI, you must specify the location of the License File in the Current License File field.

For example, to use the lmtools GUI to monitor the status of network license activity, click the Status button. lmtools prompts you to further qualify your status request to a particular daemon or feature. By default, lmtools displays the same information as if you had entered lmutil lmstat -a.
