Configure static
route redistribution on one router only to eliminate the possibility
of routing loops created by static route redistribution on routers
with parallel routes between networks.
In Figure ,
the 131.108.0.0 route is passed to routers D and E. The 201.222.5.0
route is filtered by the access list.
This configuration
might be used to route traffic from remote sites that connect using
static routes. You might not want to make network 201.222.5.0
available to the remote users for security reasons or because the
link to network 201.222.5.0 is slow or overused.
