Create, Open and Save the Image Map
To create a new Image Map, select the item “New project” from the File menu or press . A "New Project" dialog window will be displayed:
Choose the image file that you want to create a map from, and the name of your image map. Click the (...) button to find an image. After choosing an image, the program will automatically place the map's name in the Map name field.
The last two blanks are optional and used to set up a "default" link. If a user clicks on a space of the image that is not defined, they will be taken to the page specified here. A default URL is where the visitor is taken if they accidentally click outside of the link area. For example, it could be the URL of the page the visitor is already on.
Note that these properties can be changed during the map making process as well.
To open a project choose “Open” from the “File” menu or press . Then, give your project a name and press “Ok”.
To save a project, choose “Save” from the “File” menu or press . The project will be saved with its current name. If it has not been named, a name will be offered automatically.
